How to repair real hardwood floors with 2 hockey puck size hole from the radiator?

  1. One method is to replace the damaged sections with strips of replacement flooring. This will be easiest if you have scraps of the original flooring around, or if you can salvage some from a less visible location such as a closet.  Basically, you'll cut out a section of the flooring that has a hole and replace it with a new board, then finish the new board to match the surrounding flooring.   2. If the radiator is out of the way you can use a hole saw, cut out around the puc size opening anf then use the hole saw again to cut a section of wood  thus making a disc to fit into the hole in the floor.
