I already booked my ticket to visit my family from Asia. I will fly in October. I just realized that I lost my Green card. I will apply this week and I am almost certain that I cannot get the replacement after 6-12 months. What paperworks do I need while waiting for my Green Card? so I can legally come back here. Your help is much appreciated!

  1. This is straight from the U.S. Immigration Services website. There is a phone number or you can fill out  the I-90 form, which is available online and send it in via Internet or regular mail.

  2. hi i don't know exactly but you can go to USCIS.gorv site and ask for the form for an authorisation to travel i thing you have to pay about a hundred dollar . when you have this authorisation, you can travel without any problem an be back also.

    good luck.

  3. Once you apply I-90 and you will get Receipt Notice first. If your new green card doesn't come close to your travel time, you can make an appointment through Info Pass and get an temporary green card stamp (I-551) on your passport, as long as an immigration officer make the decision to do so.

    Good luck!
