How to replace the hard drive in my image vault

how can i replace the hard drive in my image vault? i have a 16 channel unit with a sticker that says 2004052029 on the bc\ack. i had a problen with a clicking sound from the unit. after shutdown the unit would not restart. after an overnight cooldown it restarted but much vidio is lost.
