How to replace the rails on a dynamo pool table?

seriously call a pro

would u go out and change out the motor in your car just off of what someone on here told you.  keep in mind these tables are several thousand dollars and for good play for years to come have a pro do it. while your at it they can make sure everything else is still set right, and hopefully you are replacing the cloth with the rails.

If you need to cloth the rails and have never done it or helped do it call someone, if the new rails are clothed all you need is a screwdriver to take of the metal strips on the top part of the side and a socket wrench to take the actual rails off.

I agree you absolutely need to call a pro....replacing the rails is a lot of work and you really need someone who knows what they are doing.

hey fella, I work on tables every day and you need to listen to everyone else.  I know it seems like a lot of money to pay for a refelt, even more if you have to replace the cushions too.  If the job isn't 99.9567% perfect, the table wont play right. Shop around and find out who does good work in your area.
