Question:

How to report server problems to Yahoo!?

Where do I report the following problem to Yahoo!? I've checked their help area and they offer no method of submitting a problem report.

my.yahoo.com does not load when logged in. All other yahoo.com sites load (games, mail, answers, etc), but the my.yahoo.com "customized home page" does not load. This has been happening all morning and was happening yesterday morning.

I've tried multiple operating systems, multiple browsers, multiple DNS servers (via vpn), etc. I did get lucky once using FireFox and Linux, but I couldn't repeat it. I'm guessing either their servers are overloaded or it is some weird web page caching issue with cox.net. (vpn only gave me DNS lookups. I'm pretty sure it was smart enough not to route the http traffic over vpn)

Anyone else out there using cox.net and having trouble like these?

  2. heres two things but one might help.

first yahoo is automated good luck.

second, ask my brother in an im : confedarate_wolf@yahoo.com               he can help fix pretty much anything...computerwise and with servers etc.........hope this helps...

  3. A lot of folks seem to be incountering problems accessing their MyYahoo page.  So was I.  When I posting a question about not being able to access MyYahoo yesterday, I saw a highly rated answer, and it seems to have worked!  (I really don't know why, it just did.  I completely 'shut down' for a few minutes and when I booted back up, everything worked again. I haven't had a l**k of trouble since.  Give it a try! I hope it works for you, too. Blessings...

  4. This is happening for InsightBB customers as well.

This also happened a week ago. Then Friday night through most of Sat. My. Yahoo wouldn't load. It started working again Sat. night. Now, this morning, it's not working again!

A couple of guys on another topic said if you unplug your computer for 5 minutes, then plug it back in and boot up, My Yahoo would show back up. However, it must be a Yahoo problem because I did not do the unplug thing and it began working again for a few hours last night.

Other problems with My Yahoo pages that Yahoo can't fix-

personalized Scoreboard settings. It will forget that I want PGA scores, certain basketball NCAA scores, etc. When I complain, they will fix it for a day or two, then I go right back to getting nothing. This has been going on for a year or two. I have given up with personalized Scoreboard settings and just get them from My MSN.

Yahoo's homepage is losing it big time. Maybe they're too busy trying to get the new My Yahoo page up and running. They need to make sure the old one works before trying a new one, IMO.
