Question:

How to request Yahoo to stop putting spoilers in news headlines?

Yet again Yahoo have put the name of the person who has been fired from the Apprentice in their news headline just hours after the program has been on TV on the main homepage. I haven't had time to watch the program so that's it somewhat spoiled already, I can't find anywhere on the Yahoo site to ask to stop them putting spoilers in their headlines. I did find a link to a news feedback page however it just seems to take me back to the main help page.

  1. I understand your feelings. Frankly, I don't think the latest loser on the Apprentice constitutes news. (I guess I'd make an exception for the winner of American Idol, because of interest.) So Yahoo probably would be better off skipping it.

However ... it is not Yahoo's job to avoid giving out news. It should report on events as it sees fit. Should Yahoo not give the winner of the Super Bowl because of the chance that someone will watch the game on tape? I know we're talking headlines vs. stories to a certain extent, but the principle is the same. Hope you understand.
