How to rescan your sky box?

I cannot watch channel 4+1 or some of the music channels?

please help?

If the channels are still listed on the sky EPG then the problem may be the signal. Check signal strength in services, system test,  signal test. Also check that dish cable is tightened on back of box.  If signal strength is weak the dish itself may need to be adjusted.

I had a similar problem after some strong winds recently moved my dish slightly. Some of the FTA music channels were the first to go as these use lower fequencies.

I think there is an option on the service page on the sky box. You could alway try unplugging it for a while. It may do it automatically when turned back on.

or you  can go back to where you brought it if you have the resit you can swap them for a new one wont cost you anything.
