How to reset a computer???

Question

I need to reset a computer back to how it was when it was brand new...I'm gonna sell it so I want to delete EVERYTHING! If I take it to best buy can they do it?or is there a way to do it myself??? Thanks :)

If your computer came with quick restore CD's you will be all set.  Some computers will have the backup on the computer and you will see a restore/recover option at bottom of screen when you first boot your computer.

reboot it.

google up rebooting your computer.

Yep, dban it. Make sure you select 3 or more overwrites.

Overwrite your hard drive and then Reinstall the operating system.

If you don't mind losing the OS,just go to my computer,right click on the drive and click format.
