How to reset my iPOD Shuffle(512MB)...?

I have an iPod Shuffle (512MB)..It is neither getting detected by my PC nor geting charged...Could anyone help me with this ?

  2. I think it might have got repaired by virus or any other means, so go to your nearest apple service center. you can find it on the the net itself.
