How to reset my sony ericsson.. :(?

i was stupid and i downloaded these ringtones and i think it gave my phone a virus... now i know not to do that anymore.. i just got this phone and i tried the master reset and it doesnt do anything but delete all the text messages and my call logs the master reset also got rid of one of the themes it came with and i dont know why it would keep the downloaded ones and not the ones it came with. so basically i wanna know if there is any other way to reset it besides the master reset...

please help i love my phone!!!

One thing you need to know is that viruse DON'T exist for sony ericsson phones (other then the Symbian UIQ phones) so this is most likely NOT a virus, restore the phone back to factory setting and that should solve the problem OR go to s.e's website and see if they have a firmware update for your phone and then install it on the phone and then your problme will get solved.
