Okay.. I did a horrible horrible thing to a certain person (I am defined as evil by my classmates). And he is starting to ignore me. Now.. my ego can't take this ignoring business and sooner or later... I will do yet another horrible thing. I can't help it but right now.. I am turning everybody against him... slowly.

How to make him not ignore me since it is bad for me and for him

  1. 1.  By reading the Legend of Narcissus and learning that self-love is fatal;

    2.  By reading Dale Carnegie's, How to Win Friends and Influence People;  and, most importantly,

    3.  By obeying God's command to love others as (much as) you love yourself.

But ~ it's not self-love you're suffering from - your alienating behaviour suggests the opposite, which is something to be addressed on a professional level ... you may want to consider speaking with your family doctor about this.

  2. I'd work on your narcissism.... You are not heading a good direction at all.

  3. What an awful thing it must be for you not to be able to control you own actions. That must be embarrassing.

Just think!  If you were smart enough to control your behavior and mature enough to own it, you could be the center of attention all the time!

  4. You need to just leave him alone and move on with your life. You are going to end up with everyone turning against YOU if you don't mature a little bit. No one likes bitter, vindictive people. You need to shape up or your life will be a lot tougher than it has to be.

  6. Give it time and work on developing good behavior for yourself.  If you say bad things about people, people listening might think you're saying bad things about them also.

  7. NO NO NO!!! DON'T TURN PEOPLE AGAINST HIM!!!!! BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!!

Ahem.  Sorry.  I just did the same thing a couple months ago and I now have almost no friends.  No one else needs to go through what I'm going through now.

Bud, seriously.  You have to hold it in.  You can't talk behind peoples' backs, it only leads to bad, bad things.  It'll all turn on you eventually.  You CAN help it.  I know it seems like nothing bad will come of it except he'll be shunned, but your luck will turn and the next thing you know you'll be alone and friendless with no shoulder to cry on.

Just go talk to him and tell him he's being a huge idiot.  Say you're sorry.  There's nothing else you can do but say you're sorry, and if he doesn't accept it, then that's just too bad.  If, however, you continue to talk behind his back, then he WILL have a reason to ignore you.

Beware, my friend.  Don't make the same mistake I did.  Just apologize for everything and admit your wrongdoings.  Everything will work out in the end.

    Good luck :)

  8. You appear to have some personal issues.  Maybe you should seek some therapy.

He is ignoring you because he doesn't feel like you tormenting him or putting up with your BS!  Leave him alone!

If you can't deal with people ignoring you then you will have a hard time living in the REAL WORLD!

Ultimately, what you need to do is apologize for your immature behavior and let the cards fall where they may.

  9. well REAL friends will NOT betray you...i think you owe this person an apology..heart felt...swallow you ego and be the bigger man or woman...you need to take control of your own actions and become a man..i dont know how old you are, but i can promise you...you DO NEED FRIENDS...even if its one or two real ones...

  10. Try just cooling it, if you try to hard you can escalate things.  Let things cool down and try a little later.  When guys are angry they usually don't want anything to do with you until they blow off some steam.

  11. I usually use the "ignore" method, been doing so for the last 30 years. The reason I use it is because I don't want to stoop to the level of the person that hurt me to start with, and I don't want to abuse myself by putting up with him/her; so in my opinion, ignoring is the best thing to do.

When I'm being ignored, I just weigh the odds, Do I want to have a relationship with this person? Am I forced to have a relationship? Can I live without this person? 90% of people fall in the third category, in which case I just ignore back and we become total strangers. If it's category 1 or 2 then I just sollow my pride and appologize; that would be the wise thing to do.

Now, my ego was never bruised by being ignored, after all I'm only ignored because I did something wrong. But trust me man, you must really lack self confidence if you NEED everyone to think about you all the time! get your own life man, everyone else has one!

You have serious issues, but I want to thank you for letting me know how effective the ignore method is on people like you, good for me, I avenged myself without even knowing that I was avenging myself or even meaning to!!!
