How to response to a post on Freecycle?

Question

There are two options, Reply and Send Email. Would someone explain the differences other than the obvious one? Especially as how it applies to the Poster receiving my response. Does one process faster than the other?

Option #1 Reply:  When you click Reply, the email's subject line will include name of the freecycle group when received by the poster.  This helps the poster identify your reply as actually group related and feel more comfortable with opening the email.

Option #2 Send Email: When you click on this to reply to the poster, there is no identification that message is coming from the Freecycle group.  The poster might ignore your reply thinking it is spam.  Or the poster's spam filters might identify your message a spam and delete your message.

Both processes take about the same time to be delivered to the poster.

Personally, I prefer to respond to a Freecycle offer by clicking "Reply" to avoid any misunderstandings.
