How to retrieve savings bonds?

My aunt had sent me a great amount of money in the form of savings bonds as a child. I am in some financial trouble and am wanting to retrieve them. my father and mother is telling me that there is no way i can get them because its theirs and it has their name on it i guess because i was a minor at the time. But i remember my name being on them i mean im sure its in my name..i cant imagine not being able to retrieve my own money. does anyone have any idea what i should do? I cant aford a lawyer or anything like that.

if they are in your name they are yours and your parents could have their ames to as benificarys. its hard to get them out of your parents greedy hands, call a lawyer!
