How to reupholster a couch?

Question

I just got this way awesome 70's vintage couch that needs to be reupholstered (stuffing and all) so how do I go about doing that (general idea and I'll do more in-depth research)

Go to the library.  There are excellent how-to books there.

One piece of advice.  If the couch isn't an excellent quality, it may not be worth the time or money.
