Question:

How to review for the SAT?

To start off, I'm a junior, going to be a senior in September and I'm taking the SAT exam in October. I was told I'm supposed to review for at least 3 hours every day. When I took the pre-exam, I bombed it and on all three sections (critical reading, math, and writing) I got more than half wrong but I did the worst on reading because I suck at reading comprehension, with math being in second place, and writing at third (I always did good at writing which is why it's my strongest area). When I do review, I try to get those hours in but then another part of me doesn't want to do it when I really want to and get distracted with doing other things when I want to improve my reading comprehension. How do I improve reading comprehension? When I take the real deal in October I want a decent score.

  1. The best way to review for the SAT is with a book. I recommend Princeton Review and Tutorfox new SAT guide, http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html

With both books I improved my score from 1660 to 2120 in only 2 months of summer. Good luck, and let me know if you need any more help.
