Umm it's kinda hard to explain but I would go to a local lesson barn and ask the people if you could try a free lesson or two. I do it now and it's really fun! I would give it a shot to see if you like it!

go get lessons. there is way more to it than people think, and if you learn wrong, you could get hurt.

First of all when you have the saddle already on the horse, and you're about to get on. You NEVER GET ON ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HORSE!!! U get on the left side of the horse, put your left foot up on the stirrup, (which is where u put ure feet) and then pull ure other leg up. And dont 4get 2 put the other foot in the other stirrup 2! U guide ure reins 2 the left or right which ever way u wanna go. and 2 stop say hoa or just pull the reins a little bit(not 2 much). and another big rule is that dont be scared of the horse or the horse might trample u. horses can sense when u r scared of them. its weird but its true! i hope that helps u learn how 2 ride a horse. i have a farm with horses so i know how 2 ride & all that kind of stuff. good luck!
