How to ride a bike.?

Question

I just bought a bike with 21 gears. When I ride on the fastest it is okay until at some point the gears seem to slip. When I increase the left gears (3) and /or the right gears (7) it seems to not work for me. Is there some instruction out there or can someone give me guidance?

If it's a new bike, the cables are probably stretching and it just needs to be tuned up, this happens on almost all new bikes(even the expensive ones). You can find lots of videos on http://youtube.com for derailleur adjustment or you can have it professionally done at a bike shop.
