How to rip jeans like this? [photo inside]?

how can i cut my jeans up like that? i want it to look not just like freddie cruger came along and slashed them, but actually look like it was hard to cut them up like that, where there is still some strings going across from the holes and such... what kind of tools would i need and how should i use the tools in order to get that look? pleaaase help!

i really dont kno im guessin take like scissors and cut a little whole then rip it? jja i really dont kno

Or just grab a pair of sissors and start cutting you jeans. While you at it, rip a little with your hands so the strings will appear and look cool. Make sure when you cut, make a tiny cut then rip with your hands.

Take a razor blade and shave your pants, like you would to your legs. Get some sand paper and rub the thin parts of your pants to it gets to the fringe you like. If you also take two rocks and put one on the inside and one on the outside and rub them hard it also creates the fringe affect. Bleack eats away clothes and may give it a cool affect also.

if i were u i would take just a knife and cut little slits then carefully pull the threads out from the slit and it should make the threads show and make more if the result is what u desire

just take a razor and "shave" your jeans...this will ggive them a frayed look
