How to run 1500 meters in 4: 30?

I am 14 and in grade 9, i run a 1500 around 4:45... i havn't really trained in the past and i havn't trained at all this year. I have provincials soon and i was wondering if someone could could give me some pointers in how to run it faster.

  1. The best way to run long distances faster is to get in better shape. The longer you can run at a full sprint the shorter your time will be . If you get in great shape you will eventually be able to run the full 1500 meters at a sprint.


  2. i need to run 1.5 mile in 9.16 my time was 10.58 iv dropped that to 10.23 just by jogging 6 mile everyday mine you if does feel like your improving but when you test yourself its feel so good to no how much time you've cut off :D try it just make sure you have rest days for your muscles to repair and drink lots of water.
