Question:

How to run MSN on Windows XP SP1?

My computer only has service pack 1. If I download MSN it says I need to upgrade my computer. If I download older version, it says I need to upgrade msn. I'm resorting to web msn but is there a way I could get the features of normal msn online?

  1. Actually, you don't need SP2 for Windows Live Messenger. I had SP1 and used Windows Live Messenger.

    first close MSn at all

    then

    go to

    C:/

    program files

    MSN messenger

    properties

    compatibility

    mark 'compatibility with windows 2000'

    then sign in MSN

    ►if you want to use windows live messenger try installing one of these programs first

    ►Windows update agent
