How to run a High school Newspaper?

Alrighty, well just recently I was appointed as the new Senior Editor of my schools newspaper. Its a big step, considering i'm only in grade 10 and the newspaper as been in production for over 50 years. Anyways, I am incredibly greatful for this opportunity. I know I can handle it, and am dedicated to put it forward with the best of my effort and ability. But at the same time, I really do not know what the h**l i'm doing. Anybody have any advice for me?

I would call your local newspaper, and explain what it is you are doing, and ask them if you could speak with an editor, or someone who might answer some questions.

I am sure they will accommodate you.
