Hi. My boss wants to set up a couple plasmas in our lobby with a streaming corporate commercial that loops. He wants to know the approximate cost of everything. But Im not sure what I would need to make this happen to begin my research. Do we need a LCD monitor or flat panel tv? How do I go about playing the commercial? Must it be on a dvd and then played by a dvd player? Or (ideally) is there another way?

  1. You need a dvd player, splitter, 2 lcd monitors (of whatever size you think would be best), an hdmi splitter, and long enough hdmi cables.

  2. If this is a one time thing, I would check your yellow pages for for Audio/video production or rentals and have a company come in and set it up for you.  They will have everything to get the video on the screens.

If you are going to do this permanently,  I would do the same thing....call a audio/video installation company and have them come and and give you a quote.  Many of these companies do both temporary and permanent installations.

For something like this, it might be better to let some professionals handle it.
