How do I go from a 7:55min/mile to a 6:20min/mile in about 6months?

  2. practice makes perfect.  make sure you have a pace to stick with

You should try to run every day, taking off a day each week for recovery i.e. Sundays.  These workouts should consist of slower longer runs on some day, short fast runs on other days to improve your speed, and active recovery days which is just a long slow jog following one of your harder workouts.  Secondly, try eating a little healthier.  Stock up on carbs the day before your race.  Finally make sure you have a nice pair of running shoes and not some 10 year old pair of sneakers.

  4. You got to get in shape. You cant run a 6:20 because you out a shape.
