How to run faster by track season?

I am a 14 year old female that currently runs an average of 13 seconds for the 100m dash. I really want to get a faster time(around .50s to 1s) faster by track season. I have been told that would take TONS of work and is almost impossible, but I don't plan on giving up. .50s to 1s is just my goal though, I'll be greatful if I go faster by even .10s.

Also, I play tennis and swim.

  1. run in the off TRACK season


  2. Lift weights and light jogging on the off season. As your season comes closer, start work on your start and form.
