How to run properly?

My friends and others are always making fun of how I run and walk. I take huge strides (as in more than a foot) in whatever I'm doing. How can I run in a way that looks normal and is better for your body?

  1. depends on whether you're running a long distance or a short distance

if long distance, then you should run with a slightly bigger stride than the short distance

also, you should run on the whole foot

if short distance, then you should run only on the ball of your foot

and when you're sprinting, your arms should be a 90 degree angle and very close to your body

your fists should be open and when you pump your arms, your hands should look kind of like knives slashing the air

when you practice for competing events, you should wear weighted running shoes so that when you run, you use spikes

let me explain: when you wear weighted shoes and practice, you put more energy into lifting your feet up

spikes are really light, there's hardly anything to them

and so, when you run in the events, you put the same amount of energy into lifting your weighted shoes, but this time, the energy's on the spikes so that you'll run faster

and don't wear spikes all the time, they'll ruin your feet
