  1. Not everyone gets to do everything they want to do in life when they aren't physically able.

  2. If you actually mean running events, then you just need to run a mile or two a day and just build yourself up. If you don't really want to run you could jump or do discus or whatever

  3. I agree that you should PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE but I also agree that you don't have to be the best runner and the best in shape! when i started running, haha, i certainly wasn't!

There are many events that you could do, i'd say ask whoever coaches next year, and see what they think you should do.

I hope that helped a little.

  4. do conditioning

  5. you don't have to be in amazing shape to do track. There are other events other than sprints too.

  6. Practice, practice, practice! That's really all you can do. Run outside, go swimming, anything to bring your heartrate up and build your endurance. Just keep pushing yourself. The runner's high you experience after a good run will make the hard work worth it. Besides, you'll feel better about yourself just for having tried to increase your stamina.

  7. you can just start practicing.. start running at home or at school. go work out at a gym. and if you're going to work out make sure you work out aleast 2-3 times a week to gain any muscle. you can ask your coaches at school what you can do to help you get in shape.

  8. Train, run 3-5 miles a day, 6 times a week, starting on the lower side and working your way up to at least 30mpweek. Weight lift if you can, do 10 types of different crunches, starting at 20/set and working up, INCLUDING PUSHUPS.

In a few weeks, run 200 meter repeats, starting at 6, working your way up to 12+.

  9. swim, bike, and run during the offseason. depending on your desired event, do strength workouts. strengthen not only your legs, but your arms, abs, and back. this keeps your form intact and you will be able to run efficiently
