  1. I agree with Johnny, but if your video really is 3Gbyte it may be in a format that Windows Movie Maker can't handle.  If so, you could use Super to convert it to VCD or SVCD compatible MPEG and then burn the CD with Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-Free.

  2. That is interestingly small file - what format did you captured it? Full miniDV format (AVI file) is about 13 GB per tape. Or is it a typo and you are missing "1" in front of "3"?

If you captured it directly into "DVD" format (=mpeg2) than I would suggest to convert it into a different mpeg2 - so called SVCD - you should be able to fit  40-60 minutes (depends on quality settings) of that on ONE CD disc. Quality of that video is pretty good.

Or convert into mpeg1 - so called VCD - you  can fit 80 minutes on one CD (this one has a fixed quality, no settings, the quality is like a good new videotape).

Windows media maker should be able to do some of the formats, if not all.

Or you can try TMPGenc (free for mpeg1, trial for mpeg2).

    Have fun, Johnny

  3. I've done it with NERO. See if it works with the trial version currently available.........
