How to save things like school materials?

Please be serious on this and if possible use you critical-thinking for producing great ideas.

recycle your notebooks. tear the pages that are full of writings and leave those pages that are empty. and combine all the pages from different notebooks if possible and stitch it. that's what i do. i could almost have 3 to 5 notebooks from my old ones.

Go paperless and have all work done on computers.  No copy machines, no pens or pencils, no notebooks and less trash.

Then get the textbooks on CD/DVDs.  No books, no bookcases, and no huge shipping fees for those heavy things.
