Question:

How to save videos to transfer them to Windows Movie Maker?

I want to be able to save the videos on this page (http://www.sharksahl.com/team/VideoHighlights.asp) and then import them onto Windows Movie Maker. The videos play in Windows Media Player so I would assume they would import fine, but they don't. How can I get them to import or are there any good, free converters that will help me?

Thanks a bunch guys!

  1. Here is the guide about ripping DVD to video formats like AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, RM, MOV, 3GP, 3GP2, MP4, MP4 AVC, etc. as well as rip DVD to audio formats including MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, AC3, M4A(AAC), OGG, RA, AU, etc to play on iPod touch/classic/video/nano, iPhone, Zune, PSP, video capable MP3 players, video capable mobile phones, and Pocket P.C., etc.

Also, you can google some other software:

  2. Download the video onto your computer.

    Video formats supported by WMM are : .avi, .wmv, . asf, . mpg, . m1v, . mp2, . mp2v, . mpeg, . mpe, . mpv2, and .wm.

Make sure if your video is compatible with wmm.

If not, some video converters can help you, like wondershare video converter, which can convert popular format video to wmm video.
