How to say 'little sister' in several languages?

I need an endearment meaning something similar to 'little sister' or 'little one' in Arabic; and also in an African language and a South American one (right now it's not important which; although I'd like to know which one I'm using). I've tried translation sites, but they give me the words in Arabic characters, and I need to be able to write it in English!
