How to say a basic, informal, "How are you?" in Russian?

I think it would be "Kak Dela?", right? Of not, how can I just say a basic greeting meaning, "How are you?" And, also, what would the reply be meaning, "I'm fine, thanks."

Thanks for any answers! :)

  1. Yes, the first answer is absolutely correct.

How are you -  ÃÂšÃÂ°ÃÂº дела?

There are two "you" in Russian. Informal "you" - Ты - you address to friends, relatives, parents.

And formal "you" - Вы - teachers, bosses, every other person you don't know closely or a stranger, or someone who is much older than you etc.

so, the difference of "kak dela" is:

informal - Как дела? Как у тебя дела?

formal - Как у Вас дела?

(it's like in German - Wie geht's bei dir? and Wie geht's bei Ihnen?)

  2. I usually use: "here's my wallet, put the gun away"

  3. To say, Fine, thanks it is: harashO! Spasiba

    So-So is like tAk sibe

Oh ya and Kak Dela is right, but the D E sound is kinda weird you might want to listen to some audio on it to get it right. good luck with russian, its a cool language but hard!
