1. Written Tamil is almost always slightly different than spoken. But for conversational Tamil, this is how it's said:

    Monday-Thingal (pronounced THIN-Gull)

    Tuesday-Sevvai (pronounced SEV-Vai)

Wednesday-Budan (pronounced BU-Thun (Th like in THE)

    Thursday-Vyaaran (pronounced VYAA-Run)

    Friday-Velli (pronounced VEL-Lee)

    Saturday-Sani (pronounced SUN-ee)

    Sunday-Nyayar (pronounced NYAA-Yur)

Karamai is added to mean "on the day" or "date" or just as a form of conjugation, and is used often in conversational Tamil. For example, "on Monday" is Thinga Karamai, on Tuesday is Sevva Karamai, on Wednesday Budan Karamai, on Thursday is Vyaara Karamai, on Friday is Velli Karamai, on Saturday is Sani Karamai, and on Sunday is Nyai-Thee Karamai.
