How to scare my sister when im not in the house

my little sister is having two friends over tonight, they are sleeping in my really big bed and my mom is sending me to sleep over the neighbors house so i dont bother them. any ideas

Ideally you'd want something that will start moving on its own.  If you had more time, you could get a really long-running timer and connect it to something.  Or you could rig up something on your computer to, I don't know, turn on the lamp when you receive an email.  But those would take more time to set up than you have.

I think you're stuck with just booby-trapping stuff, and relying on her and her friends to set it off by opening a door or drawer or something.  For instance, bucket of water perched on top of the door, or something like that.

I guess if you wanted to, you could create a CD, MP3, tape, etc. with about an hour of silence and then a scary noise, and press play right before they get there.  Or you could rig up something with string, and have the string go out the window so you can pull it from outside after you're supposed to be at the neighbors'.
