  1. while your hair is still wet from your shower (dont even towel it dry, its best when its still kinda dripping so the gel applys more evenly)

apply a dime sized amount of gel to your hands and run it evenly through your hair,

use a wide toothed comb to comb out any knots and towel dry.

take your hands and grab your hair in a fist starting at the tips pushing upwards and squeeze and then release, repeat this step until your hair is the desired "scrunchiness" then let air dry.

thats how i do mine and it wokrs like a charm!

  2. after you take a shower...put gel in your hair and take little strips of hair about 2 inches and hold it in your hair and push it up to the top of your head. then do it for every strip of hair! then after that put a scrunching musse in your hand and do the same thing that u did with the gel. after that spray hairspray to hold the scrunchyness. and after u spray the hair scrunch big sections and hold for about 10 sec. and if you have thick hair that drys slowly then blow dry your hair on a low setting so that the hair holds better!!

o and make sure ur hair isnt too wet!! it has to be semi wet!!

good luckk!! :] hope it helpss

  3. Separate hair into inch strips.

    Hold one in one hand.

Push hair up and squeeze with hand.

Then continue in spots that need it.

Edit: I just thought I would add my two cents in to what another person said. Obv. use products (curl enhancer with anti-frizz) and hairspray, but besides that I have found that flipping my hair upside down causes it to go all frizzy. Try it out and see what works for you. It might just be me, as my hair is pretty straight.

  4. GO to this website and look at te hair videos there is something in there to help you http://www.freewebs.com/leekshairplace/

  5. wen ur hair is wet, towel dry it, they apply mousse to ur hair, scrunch it and throw ur head down and shake ur head, scrunch even more with hair down, then put ur head back again, fix a little,, put ur hair hair in a bun, put sum hot air on it and leave it to dry naturally...and wala! :D

  6. 1. Shampoo and condition your hair. When finishing, do your last rinse with cold water.

    2. Squeeze the excess water out. Towel/air dry for 10-15 minutes. Divide hair into 3-4 sections. To scrunch it, scrunch your hair from the ends going upward to your roots (like scrunching a piece of paper), once you're at the root, secure with a hair clip/claw. You want it damp but not soaking wet or dripping.

    3. Wrap your hair in a small towel (for thin hair leave on a few minutes, for thick hair up to 20 minutes). Do not rub your hair at all with a towel (this will cause frizziness). What you can do is wring it within the towel if the ends are still dripping.

    4. Run your fingers like a wide-tooth comb through your hair and make a part as best as you can. Don't worry if it's not perfect!

    5. Use hairspray. Put it near the middle and bottom of your hair. Putting it too close to your roots will cause it to look greasy and weighed down.

6.Turn your head upside down so that your hair is hanging down. This step is optional and some prefer to skip it. Helps give volume and a more even scrunch.

    7. Put gel/mousse in your hands and rub them together to spread the gel/mousse.

    8. Grab a small handful of hair by the ends and push it up toward the head. Hold it in place for a few moments while aiming the hair dryer at it to 'set' the gel/mousse/hair spray.

    9. Repeat this all over your head, reapplying the gel every time. Keep in mind that small handfuls yield tighter waves and large handfuls create full, loose waves.

    10. Leave hair alone while air-drying if you opt to not blow-dry with a diffuser. If you mess with it too much it will cause frizz.

Do not rush the steps or rush to dry it. Letting it dry by itself is a way to leave it with a wet look.

    11. Spray an even amount of spray wax at the middle and ends of your hair for more texture (Pantene Texturize! is great).

Scrunching hair is an easy thing to do and it looks great too.

It might help if you use paul mitchell sculpting spray or a mousse or gel

if you have natural curly hair and you scrunch it it will make it more wavy and curly than it already is.

    good luck :]

  7. Get some scrunching mousse and while its still wet, flip your head over and squeeze handfuls up from the ends to the roots until you've covered your whole head. Then flip it back over, right-side up, and do the same thing. (If you have a diffuser on a blow dryer, it helps alot) Then hairspray it.

    Mousse or gel

    Hairspray

    Hair dryer and diffuser (optional)

    A shower

    Towels

    Clips

    Curling Shampoo and Conditioner(optional)

Any kind of Sculpting Spray (optional)

if you have natural curly hair and you scrunch it it will make it more wavy and curly than it already is.

    Tips:

Make sure you don't look like a wet dog! use only a little bit of gel.

Fine/thin, naturally straight, or chemically-straightened hair may be resistant to scrunching. If this is the case, apply curl-defining mousse or gel to the hair and curl it using a barrel iron. Consult the Related wikiHows below for instructions.

For best results, use shampoo, conditioner, and products (gel, mousse, hairspray, etc.) that specifically define curls.

Take a shower at night. Then apply the mousse and spray. Go to sleep with your hair still slightly wet. When you wake up, your hair will be wavy. To perfect it, get your hair slightly wet all over. Make sure you avoid getting your roots wet. Reapply mousse and spray and you're done.

If it only works from the middle of your hair down, put it in a regular ponytail. [Only if it doesn't work all that well]

Make sure that your hair isn't completely dry or completely wet -- keep it damp. Always press your hair with a towel.

Some say that adding a pinch of honey to the gel brightens blonde hair and brings out the waviness.

If your hair is straight, wet your hair and put it in a french braid overnight -- don't forget to use hairspray before you go to bed. Once you wake up take out the braids and your hair should be wavy. Scrunch it with mousse and hairspray, and your hair should look scrunchy. If you do this, however, make sure hair is lightly damp, as opposed to dripping wet, so that it can dry in the braids overnight. Otherwise, when taking out the braids, you may find your hair hasn't stayed wavy, or won't for long.

If you have thick fluffy hair, you can part your hair into two sections, twist it, and secure it with a bobby pin. Then spray on hairspray and let it dry. Take the twist out and then you will have natural curls.

For a really awesome look, once you're done washing your hair, put gel/mousse in it. Then put it up and when you wake up in the morning, your hair looks fab!

    Warning:

Gel isn't usually the best thing to use in your hair. If you put in too much, it makes your hair look crunchy and wet. Try applying mousse then spraying your hair with a curl defining spray.

Shaking your head upside down might make your hair look frizzy and puffy. You should always try to avoid shaking your head upside down a lot.

Don't put too much gel in your hair in one spot because once it dries, it will turn white and flaky.

Don't even think about brushing your hair after you've scrunched it! You will look like you got electrocuted.

If possible don't sleep on your hair the night that you scrunch it! It will look frizzy, puffy, and not cute at all! Scrunch your hair a few hou
