How to search Golf Courses near an address?

Go to Yahoo.com and type in "Golf Course" and/or "Country Club", then click on the 'Local' tab and enter your address.  You'll find a list of golf courses come up below.  Click the 'Distance' hyperlink to sort by distance.  Good luck.

If you have a phone directory with yellow pages section look under  the heading Golf Courses public and private and see which is near your desired address. There might even be a directory of golf courses within your state both public and private with maps which give the approximate location and the course name, address, the par, private or public and the phone number. There is one for CT.
