  1. The way I do it is to put it up against the wall. Go on top and mark the top of the cabinet on the wall. Pull the cabinet away and then s***w some "L" brackets to the studs with the top of the bracket a 1/16th of an inch above your line. If you can't hit 2 studs use a molly bolt. Push the cabinet back and then s***w the bracket to the top of the cabinet.

  2. As stated previously  L brackets fixed to the top of the cabinet and into a studs is the best. Some other good ideas ...

        * Store heavy objects low down

        * Use non-slip mats under smaller appliances and objects

        * Use plastic putty (Blu Tack) to secure ornaments

  3. I agree with rob the poster above me. You can also maybe put something small and decorative in front of the L brackets to hide the brackets if you don't want them to be seen. That is another thought in addition to what I was going to say too !

I'm soo sorry about the earth quake. I hope it was not too bad. Earthquakes give me the bageebeees (my own word for the creeps). Where I live our fault lines have been inactive for years. I hope they stay that way and I better not have jinxed it now.

    Good luck and stay safe!
