How to secure my router?

How do i secure my router and password protect it? I have a linksys. It didn't come with any software or anything. Help!

It should have come with a CD that will guide you through a setup process.

Go to wireless security to and enable/select wep key for authentication put in a passphrase, to secure access to the router itself go to administration there is change password there.
