  1. squint your eyes and look very very hard


  2. X-ray diffraction produces images of atoms based on the electron clouds in the atoms. I think neutron diffraction does the same but the neutrons are diffracted by the nuclei of the atoms.

    You can't see either with a normal microscope, they are way too small.

    We know protons/electrons exist thanks to the work of Ernest Rutherford and J J Thompson (among others).

    Their experiments didn't allow anyone to see these particles directly, it allowed them to be observed indirectly by their effects.

  3. you can stain the cell and be able to see the nucleus with a microscope but the electrons you can not see they are moving way to fast and are way to small.

  4. Microscope.  But you won't see any electrons.
