Dear Friend,

Indian law prevents any Indian Agriculturist to sell his land to any other non agriculturist. But following options are there:-

1. You can take permission to sell your land to any non agriculturist by applying to your revenue Officer.

2. You can take permission to use your land for any non agriculture purpose, say developing residential plots or Industrial purpose, by apply for the conversion.

3. Once you get the land converted, then you can sell it to any person.

4. If be person, who is buying your land is ready to take care of conversion procedure, you can do so, by issuing a no objection certificate. Then the risk is passed to the buyer.

5. If you are selling the land to an Agriculturist for Agriculture purpose, then there will not be any objection.
