How to sell items on ebay?

Question

Stupid question I know but I want to do it right. We've just created an account on ebay, mainly for selling. Can someone give me a detailed step-by-step method of how to do it? I know a bit about it, but not much!

Boring, but make sure that you at least look at the 'rules and policies' for both buying and selling.  It can save you  whole load of hassle if you know what's allowed and what's not.

Also if you need any help, always ask on the eBay Discussion Boards or in the Answer Centre - preferably before you do  whatever it is you need help with!

Good luck, it can be fun but do look after yourself (especially if you plan buying/selling higher value items)
