  1. Well i would say ebay, but i don't think  a lot of people want to pay the shipping. So maybe try making fliers then posting them places.

Also you could make a cart thing and go to a busy place try to sell ur stuff.

    good luck!

  2. You can try ebay if you are willing to ship your cards. you can also advertise in a local paper. Good luck to you.

  3. Hyderabad holds many types of fairs and exhibitions throughout the year. You can set up a stall there provided you have enough stock .

  5. You can sell via a website you can set up. You can go to local flower and gift shops and see if they will sell on consignment (independent shops are the ones to go to not chains like Hallmark). You can advertise in local newspapers (that will cost a bit) You can put up a free ad at the community bulletin board at many supermarkets. You can sell via word of mouth, have friends or folks who have bought from you, recommend you. You can make flyer's or brochures and pass them out at local events/schools get permission from mall owners to put stuff on car windshields.

  6. How about you sell it to frnds and family.... if they will buy it.

  7. Sure...Etsy.com   a place to sell handmade things.  Easy start- cheap, classy and fun!

  8. I don't know the market in India, but using the internet, you could sell your cards to anyone in the world.

Etsy.com is the place for artists to sell their products. You could sell your cards and oil paintings. You could even scan oil painting to print onto cardstock (heavy paper) if you have a scanner and printer. Then you could print cards in much less time than handmade ones (so you could sell more).

I see some people selling cards individually and some selling them in packs of 5 or more. That seems like a good idea since you want to sell more at once. You could offer lower prices if they buy more than one, or say "Buy 3 get one free". Just be sure and price them high enough to make a good amount with that kind of deal.

Locally, in the States, we have craft fairs where handmade wares are sold. It's kind of hard to get a fair price for your time, but if you have the talent, people will want to pay a little more than getting a card at the store.

I would also suggest looking online for tips on starting businesses. There's a lot to that. Do what you can to get the word out there. Make sure your name and info is on each card.

    Good luck!
