How to send a shortcode test on your phone?

I want to cancel a service from my phone. The directions say If you text "cancel" to the shortcode 56678001, and follow all of the deletion steps, we will wipe all of your information from Loopt. After you do this we can't get it back. How do I do this? I have SMS, but I get the email back? Am I doing this wrong?

if u text stop or cancel to the service ,u was taken, to that co's address like yahoo's any service have 5555,then they surely will cancel ur service .i was have a service ,they usually send me sms ,and i REPLY to their service by sending a sms stop then they stop it and cancel my service

if it not work.call to ur service provider and tell that u want to cancel that serice but company is continuing charge me through my bill plz dont pay to them ,may b thay find any other solution

moreover go to that service 's site ,u can cancel there,enter ur phone u was registered ,after login cancel it,read their T&C bez it may include termination charges
