How to send a wireless network adapter from on computer to another that does'nt have one.?

ive got a desktop computer and a Laptop, my laptop had a built in wireless network adapter installed on it when i bought it, but my desktop computer doe'snt, instead of buying a network adapter, could i possibly send the wireless thingy from my laptop onto a USB and onto my computer?

  1. Nope:

    Most of built in laptop wireless adaptor are in mini-pci adaptor slot.

    mean that it needs a mini-pci for it to work and you have to open up/dissamble you laptop.

    You could buy a PCI to mini-pci adaptor for your desktop.

    But its like buying a wireless PCI adaptor for your desktop.

    My recommendation is just buy the wireless PCI adaptor.

  4. Nope sorry. The "wireless thingy" is a network card so I think it would be difficult to convert it into a file and stick it into your USB flash. :)
