How to send an Email to convert to Text to an AT&T Phone Number?

I am at work. My phone is at home. I want to send my friend a text message via email, she has AT&T...is that possible?

Would I email it to her phone number? For example:

[e-mail]

HELP!!!

I know with verizon it's (yournumber)@vzwtext.com or vzwpix.com. Check the AT'T website - it might say there.

OR you can use http://www.text4free.net/ - that's even easier!
