I use microsoft word to send bulk mailing to my clients. for rich text format, it works just fine. For sending mails in HTML format, I would need to add some images as well. if i send the pictures as attachment, mails will become heavy. So, I want to send a html mail but images should be redirected from my FTP.

help, anyone?

  1. Don’t know how to do this by MS Word

But I can tell you how it’s done using some kind of programming language (java, php)

  2. These are only suggestions

From a programmers point of view I would use a bulk email service like http://www.icontact.com/ which has many templates to select from. In regards to Microsoft Word bloating from images this is normal although depending on the version of Word and your OS + RAM can make a difference in weird things happening with lots of images. If you know a programmer they can easily create an application that uses a database for contact names, SMTP protocol to send out messages. Microsoft .NET or PHP are my suggestions.
