How to send messages REALLY fast on Xfire?

Ok, so I'm talkin to my friend on Xfire, being silly as usual by sending him loads of spam, then he starts sending messages REALLY fast in a short amount of time. His brother does it as well yet he still refuses to tell me how to do it. I understand that he uses copy and paste but how does he send those messages so fast? Does he use a certain chat messenger program or SOME kind of technique? I wanna really surprise him when I find out his secret.

He isn't using ctrl - c and ctrl - v he is using a program called xfire spam raper by downloading it here: http://files.filefront.com/xfire+spammer...
