U can send only one SMS generally. But, if the mobile owner answers one of your SMS then you can send any number of "SMS per login".

download yahoo masanger, open the mobile option in yahoo home page and select the pc to mobile option and done sms to entered mobile no.

Go to Actions, select Send an Instant Message, select Other contact, give the mobile number preceded by  +{Country code} and try. Hope this works within a particular range and that too GSM only support. CDMA based numbers may not accept.
