How to send newspaper clips?

When a newspaper wants clips for a job or internship, are you supposed to cut out the article you wrote and put it in a file for them, or photocopy it and put it in a file. What if you only have 1 copy of the published copy of your article?

A photocopy is fine.  In fact, even if sending an actual clipping, it's easier to handle if it's taped onto a sheet of paper.
