How to send offer to potential customer via email and not break law?

I would like to gain more customers and want send to some companies information about my service. I affraid it can be spam what is illegal in UK.

You can set up an opt in newsletter on your website through Aweber, they have an excellent service where you can compose newsletters.  You put the link on your site, people opt in and then you send out newsletters, with your promotions and hopefully some freebies to keep them interested.
