Well you see I use JVC Digital video Camera and JVC Digital Video Cassette to record videos ....

U see I want to post my videos in Youtube, and I want scenes seperated ...

FOR EXAMPLE:

scene 1 : Cousin's birthday party!!!

scene 2 : going to a beautiful beach :)

But they are both in the same cassette, and I don't want them to both be in the same video together ... any ideas?

Sorry If I don't make sense ... and also I am a beginner on these things ... XD, so can u help me?

  1. you have to upload it onto a video editing program so you can separate the two

  2. a wild guess, ur vcam is a miniDV or at least a digi-8... if so

    a miniDV or digi-8 vcam must be iLink / FIREWIRE400**-connected to pc to upload video thru video capture or video editing* software while vcam is ON PLAYBACK.  Note: DV or Firewire port of vcam is 4pin. Before cable purchase** (Vcam/4pin=>firewireCABLE=>PC (4/ 6pin?), check pc for DV or firewire port, whether 4 or 6 pin. If none, install firewire card: pci for pc or pcmcia for laptop.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firewire

    for starters, free Windows Movie Maker* (XP-wmm2 & Vista-wmm6) provides simple & easy way to learn the ropes < click help for details>. Upgrade to intermediate video editing applications accdg. to need & skill level

    http://video-editing-software-review.top...

          video editing process- XP/wmm2

          >>> open wmm- start/all programs/wmm->TASK pane

    1. Capture video stream** - editing software remotely controls vcam operations- there are separate video files for the bd party and the beach scenes

    2. Edit- drag/drop video files- first, the bd party->timeline & enhance w/effects, transition, music & titles

    3. Finish (render)- save BD party Movie –OK for youTube, also save Project.msmmw file

          >>> Share-burn to DvD- use DvD authoring app, e.g.,DvD Flick or Nero

    >>>repeat from the edit step onwards, this time drag/drop the beach scenes and save a Beach Movie

    Similarly: Vista/wmm6- Import/ Edit/ Publish=>auto-shifts to WindowsDvD authoring app->burn to DvD
